Industriedialog Forschung – Digital Rail
Invitation to “Industriedialog Forschung – Digital Rail”
The European railroads are planning to increase transport capacity for passengers and goods by 50% without expanding the infrastructure. This is to be achieved through better train scheduling, faster dispatching, fewer disruptions and predictable maintenance.
The digitalization of the rail system is crucial here: virtual development and simulation optimize operating processes and infrastructure as early as the development phase. Digital twins enable continuous monitoring and real-time analysis. AI-supported decision-making systems support the effective management of complex challenges and increase operational efficiency.
This digital transformation improves reliability, safety and efficiency in rail transportation, shortens innovation cycles and enables faster market penetration.
